In the light of recent event in which Pedra Branca fell into Singapore's grip, I would like to make and open discussion of the affairs, with info courtesy of an informant. I am an otaku of military technology although I have seen only a few series of the Future Weapons on TV. If you happened to watch one, it's a great eye opener.
Somebody wrote a scenario if Singapore goes to war with Malaysia. Given all that air superiority and artillery firepower, Johor will be overran in a matter of days and KLCC will be bombed until the last structure that remains is the Maxis Tower. An insider told me that Singapore's army has enough artillery firepower to cut off Johor from the peninsular Malaysia, it might be an exaggeration but nevertheless it is a frightening scenario. They might even have nuclear based arsenal.
With all deterrent that the Malaysian defence force have, can we withstand the onslaught of the Singaporean army? Well, if we can't face them in an open battlefield, we can fight them from the shadow. Malaysian army is well known for its jungle guerilla warfare. Perhaps this is where our army stands out the most. It will be an assymetric warfare, but nonetheless it is better to avoid an open conflict through negotiations.
Suggestions to maintain a balance in military prowess.
1. Fortify the position down south
2. Hit them at where it hurts the most, kill of the water supply
3. Use the defense budget wisely to keep up with our neighbor's spending
4. Local defense technology and industrial development
Care to add some?

PSD scholars are in deep shit..
Not all but those who failed to return to Malaysia once they finished their studies in whatever freaking majors they took. But wait...this program has been going on since the 80s and i believe there are still many out there on the loose....whatever their reasons..
I am one of PSD's scholar and i returned to Malaysia once my ordeal in usa was over. The intention is to uphold the bond or contract that i have signed with the govt of malaysia. I have gone through two interview with the govt depts and no job is offered, that is fine i guess. Right now I am working in malaysia, even though the pay is not as good as those who are working abroad and in the process, breached their contract with PSD, i feel good as I am paying my tax, and in turn could provide the mean and assistance for those from the lower income family to have an opportunity to study at a foreign land.
To cite the lack of suitable jobs and facilities is a really lame excuse. The govt can buy a lot of high tech equipments but without the brains to operate it, that would be a waste.

Warhammer 40k expansion
c
Soulstorm is hopeless...the next expansion should be on the taros campaign, damocles gulf crusade, horus heresy or better still TYRANIDS...would love to see the battlefield as huge as the ones in supreme commander with Carnifex stalking the land. Pit the nids against the SM, IG and watch the bloody battle unfolds with epic space battles. Please get your original Warhammer 40k games from authorized distributor.

Demonstrasi jalanan...no facts but pure instinct
I am in no way a political buff, but a "peaceful" demonstration won't kill anyone, right?
How can single demonstration done in an open field, theoretically speaking, can blow down and make people feel something is being shoved up their ass? I've been caught in a traffic jam caused by multiple roadblocks insisting that rally supporters to turn back. I didn't see a of humanity thronging the road all the way from Sg Besi toll to the heart of KL. The fact that the road block held the traffic itself is a nuisance, there is no cash flow when people aren't coming to KL, rather than blocking the good citizens, the police should nab the crowds of expatriates that congregate our lovely KL and turn it into their own nice backyard. How's that for a change?
